Ms. Grimes is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Medmarc recognized Cynthia as the 2007 Attorney of the Year and Cynthia was previously recognized as attorney of the year by another national client. She has extensive trial experience throughout South Texas with over 69 jury trials including 9 brain injury cases. Her practice includes civil litigation with emphasis in medical products, insurance and medical litigation. She had handled the resolution of claims involving over 1000 patients nationally for a component part manufacturer. Cynthia has been Board Certified in two areas since 1984: Civil Trial Litigation and Personal Injury Litigation, Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Cynthia is married to Rob Grimes and has two daughters and three stepsons.

Accomplishments

- Inducted into American College of Trial Lawyers in 2004
- Course director for Access to Justice Trial Academy for the Public Interest Lawyers sponsored by the State Bar of Texas and conducted at University of Texas Law School May 18-22, 2008. The week long academy involved demonstrations and practice of Voir Dire, opening, direct and cross examination of witnesses and practicing physician witnesses, and closing. 27 Texas Fellows of the American Academy of Trial Lawyers donated their time to this project.
